Bruce Springsteen
Bootleg CD's LP's & Videos

I have collected some bootleg CD's and LP's, as well as Video from concerts and television broadcasts over the years.  The three on top are my personal favorites in each category. Click on each picture to go to the page with more like it. If you have anything you would be interesting in trading, please email me at mjohns9900@yahoo.com.
I have many by other artists that I haven't catalogued here, yet. Look for those in the future.

This particular CD is a 3 disc set from Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA on May 3, 1988. This show was well know as one of the longest shows on that tour and one of the best! I was lucky enough to not only be in the audience, but I happened to be on the lawn while Bruce warmed up on stage. Well, someone opened the doors early and all of a sudden he had himself a crowd and performed a couple more tunes for everyone before telling everyone he'd see them all later. Did he ever! Great Show!! This was actually the first Bruce Springsteen album I EVER bought! I got it for $26 at a little independant record store in Champaign, IL, during my first semester at college in late 1979. I actually didn't know anything about Bootlegs at the time, and just thought it was a live concert album. I knew a few of his songs and heard he was incredible in concert, so I thought, "why not". From then on, I was hooked! I had to have everything! I bought all his studio albums and whatever bootlegs I could afford! This is from the very first Bridge School Benefit Concert put on by Neil Young. It was an incredible lineup! Neil Young, CSN&Y, Nils Lofgren, Tom Petty, Don Henley, Robin Williams and, of course, Bruce closing the show.  Again, I was lucky enough to be at this show and found a copy of the video at a record swap a few years later! I've also been saving video taped from various broadcasts over the years and have now converted those to computer files that I have transferred to DVD-R!
